Okay give me a second to explain.
A couple of years ago, I made my family Giant scarfs. Trent and Natalie got one and I had started one for me several times. Guess who won the World Series that year? That's right, folks, the Giants.
A few months ago, I knitted Boston Red Sox socks for my friend, Michelle. Guess who just won the World Series? That's right, folks, the Red Sox!!
I told my sensational talent to my husband and he wants to test this out for next year. He said to knit him something in say the Pirates colors. Okay, this got me thinking; I don't think that will work. I mean, I don't believe that I can just knit someone something and have that team win. I think that I have to knit a REAL fan something to have their REAL team win! I can't just knit all willy nilly; it has been real!
I am willing to test this out. I need a true blue fan with a team that is theirs through thick and thin, good years and bad years, winning seasons and losing seasons that I can knit say a scarf or fingerless gloves or even socks for. We will have to wait until the new season starts next April, but after the first pitch has been thrown, I am willing to take my talent out for a spin.
So -- any takers?!?!
